Slattery’s of Capel Street –

In my view, it is essential to have accurate stocktaking carried out regularly if you are to run your business successfully.
Synergy Stocktaking began stocktaking for Slattery’s of Capel Street in 2003. The added support that Synergy Stocktaking has provided has been essential to success of my business.
Their service provides highly accurate stocktakes that allow me to pinpoint areas where I may be losing profits. They also provide solutions to the common difficulties that can crop up in this business.
To give one example, the stocktake highlighted a considerable loss and Synergy Stocktaking
recommended an investigator who gathered evidence showing ongoing theft by a particular staff member. The evidence was so clear with their high levels of accuracy that this staff member confessed and committed to paying back the monies stolen in full.
I have found the Synergy food stocktaking service to be particularly useful. Food is an integral part of the bar industry but in order to be profitable you have to have a handle on the food gross profit. The Synergy stocktaking systems had an extremely positive effect on our gross profit.

Synergy Stocktaking began stocktaking in June 2008 at the Portobello Bar and Night Club. When they first started they uncovered some fairly startling results i.e. I was missing a keg of beer every stock! This was a huge loss and while I tried everything in my power to improve the stocks I had little success. I operate a large premises with several bars and it proved impossible for me to pinpoint the source of my loss.
The Synergy Solution
Synergy Stocktaking recommended unannounced stocktakes of draught beer in each bar over a three-day
period. On the first stocktake, one bar was perfect but two were missing pints. On the second stocktake Synergy Stocktaking suggested that we moved staff to different bars to see if the problem moved with the staff and it did. Synergy Stocktaking then recommended moving the 2 people who were common to the problem to work together in one bar.
On the third stocktake this was the only bar missing a considerable amount of drink. Synergy Stocktaking allowed me to deal with this problem efficiently. Afterwards, my stock reports improved dramatically and even better, my profits increased. Synergy Stocktaking doesn’t just increase your profits, they reduce your shrinkage and help you to drive your business to be more profitable.
